Designed to aid one handed steering, this adaptation also assists drivers with limited arm or shoulder strength and reduces the force required to steer. Steering aids can be used independently or in conjunction with other adaptations
Ball
The most commonly used steering aid, the steering ball is grasped from the front using a partially clenched hand.
Peg
The steering peg is grasped from the side using a partially clenched hand. Available as quick release only.
Tetra Grip
The tetra grip is controlled by placing the wrist between two adjustable supports and fingers around the peg. Available as quick release only.
Easy Release Handbrake
Designed for drivers with limited hand function, the Handbrake Easy Release reduces the amount of grip required to move the handbrake and eliminates the requirement to depress the button
Hand Operated Parking Brake Easy Release
Some vehicles have a foot operated pedal to release the parking brake instead of a handbrake lever. This adaptation enables drivers who are unable to use their feet, to operate the parking brake by hand.
Load, transport and retrieve your folding frame wheelchair using a roof top box.
Simple, convenient and space saving. Think of it as a valet service for your wheelchair. When you get seated in your car, the Chair Topper will take care of your wheelchair for you. When you’re ready to leave the car, the Chair topper will bring your wheelchair to you. In between it is safely stored in the weatherproof roof top box. It’s a great solution for independent drivers as well as passengers.
